HOUTONG CAT VILLAGE, TAIWAN

September 23, 2015

The Houtong Cat Village is famous for its cat population. When we reached there, we saw lots of cats there. The cats are not stray cats. They're well taken care by the residents there. Houtong was once Taiwan's largest coal mine, but now the visitors come here to see the numerous cats living in the town.

The cats were very tame.

The railway station. We ought to cross the bridge from the Houtong Railway Station in order to go to the Cat Village. Free admission. There is a coal mining museum in front of this station. Do visit the museum.

The cats are kinda like the guardians of the town.

Cat lovers must visit this place.

Choo! Choo! The cat awoke every time the train passed by. Such a cute little creature.
