" I will never forget the day in which everything went wrong in my life." "Bow Wow Wow!" My pet BB awoke me and when I opened my eyes, the clock strike half past seven! Oh my god, i was late and had to say goodbye to my all-time-favourite sleeping moment. Without hesitation, I immediately put on my crumpled uniform, tied a pony tail and snacked on some breakfast prepared by my lovely mother. After that, I took my backpack and sprang out from my home with a light speed.

     "I never thought I will see daylight again! Mum, I'm so afraid that I can't see you again." I was sobbing after I woke up and hugged my mother who had accompanied me for a week. I was really glad that I was still alive. All the things happened to me made me feel uneasy. I could still remember vividly why I was rushed to the hospital!

     It was a moonlit night, Tom, Dick and Harry had fallen asleep already and the neighbourhood was abuzz with lots of creatures' sound. I was anxious to study alone in my bedroom. However, my determination made me to struggle in this creepy night as my examination was just around the corner. Hence, I really had to pull up my socks in order to obtain flying-colours-result. Although it was not the first time I burned the midnight oil, I was still very anxious especially that month in Chinese Calendar was known as 'Ghost month'! All the spirits would come out every night!

     "Err......" Out of a sudden, I was dimly aware of the sound of footstep in my living room! As I listened carefully, someone was trying open the door of my house! Without hesitation I sprang to the bedroom's door and peeped through the keyhole to see what's happening. The Song of Evil kept on playing in my mind and my heart was pounding very fast without rhythm. Then, my eyes were popping out and my jaw was hanging down when I saw the door was opened! "Black......black ghost!"

     I was shivering on seeing the scene as the 'dark thing' was not a spirit, not a creature......It was a man! I saw a well-built man with a sack, breaking into my house. He was very tall, has tanned skin, with many scars on his face. As if he was the 'Hulk' in the movie. His eyes were evil and his full lips really made me sick! He was trying to steal all the valuable things in my living room. I felt anxious and tried to give a tinkle to my parents who were sleeping soundly in their bedroom.

     "Ring......Ring." However, the fortune was not on my side. My parents' mobile phone was not set in silent mode and the sound of the handphone made the intruder acted more aggressively. He immediately kicked my bedroom's door and used a stick pointing at me. I was frightened by him and I nearly 'pee'. He insisted me to take out all my bracelets, necklace and cash.

     I obeyed his order and reacted promptly by getting out my all-time-impressed accessories for him. He was acting harsh by grabbing all my things into his loot. Suddenly my father came and pounced on him. He was trying to encounter the thief. On the other hand, my mum called the police. Then, the thief accidentally used the stick and strike my head. I was injured and my head was bleeding. blood was dripping like a pool. I felt fizzy and then I fell unconscious.

     "You're under arrest, surrender now!" I heard the police's sound. I was glad that it was over. I was rushed to the hospital. This incident would remain in the deepest core in my heart. Forever.

     Do you have computer at home? Do you notice the Microsoft logos on your desktop? Yes, that is the software created by a computer genius, Bill Gates. He is 180cm tall and he prefers reading encyclopedia. He admires Napolean. In the year of 1955, Bill Gates was born.

     He is indeed an industrious person. He always burnt the midnight oil by spending all his time with his friend. When he was thirteen years old, he worked in a computer company with his best friend, Paul. They helped the company to debug which can earn the income of 200 dollars per month. He is also capable to solve problem which other programmers couldn't do. Since that incident, he was known as 'Computer Genius' in America. He is so enthusiastic in computer. For instance, he was able to play tick-tae-toe using computer when he was 7 years old.

     According to the 'Wall Press', Bill Gates earns 283.7 billion dollars in 2002 and his staffs who work under Microsoft company went over 51,500 in the world. In 1973, he managed to study in the worldwide's most well-known university, Harvard. Everyone drives themselves into the ground just to study in this university. He campus life was still about computer only. He tied the knot with Melinda in 1999. He is lavish in donating money to the charity. He donates lots of money from part of his vast income for those who need help. He retired in 27 June 2008.

     Gates intended to spend his time creating software, but not in the classroom. As a result, he dropped out of Harvard in his junior year. In 1975, Micro-soft (later changed to Microsoft) which was founded by him and his long time friend Paul. Then, he worked on the company's next big product called DOS, which is a basic operating system. DOS led the company's first huge success.

     Soon DOS is the main operating system used by computer markers, making Microsoft a huge success and Gates a very wealthy man. Besides that, Gates is also an astute businessman. He is always looking for ways to expand his company. Therefore, Microsoft developed a variety of software applications, which ranging from word processing programs to internet browser. His efforts were paid off handsomely. These made him become the world's wealthiest person with an estimate of the net worth 50 billion dollars. that is so fascinating. The most incredible thing is, he continuously was the wealthiest person  in the world until 2007. The Time magazine even estimate his income, which is an astronomical figure. They found that Gates earns 250 dollars per minute, 2000 million per day and 78 billion per year.

     Even though Gates refused to follow his parents' footsteps as a lawyer or a lecturer, he would rather to be a computer programmer, his parents still always support him and respect his big decision in his life. Gates really makes me impressed. Since reading his biography, I find that there is always no gain without pain. If I were him, I don't know whether I could have these efforts. However, I will try my best to achieve the goal in my life just like him. :)

     From my point of view, it is better to live in the countryside. Although some people say that living in countryside is dull and boring. they can not stay comfort without television and air-conditioner. All these are wrong. Living in the rural area is beneficial than urban.

     My house is a double storey house terrace house which is located in a housing estate in Taman Bukit Buaya. Initially, the neighbours here are very courteous and considerate. For instance, we usually drop in the neighbours' house during the festival as there are so many open house near my housing area. Laughter filled the air when we go jogging and chatting around our residential area. Unfortunately, the serene neighbourhood has been affected by the appearance of an unwelcome new neighbour, Ravi!

    Ravi is an Indian old man who has curly hair and a well-built body as well as olive-toned skin. His bad habit is always picking his nose in front of others. It was a Sunday when Ravi shifted into the rental house next to mine. He created so much noise when he arrived at his house. he kept honking his car horns to draw attention from the neighbours. Then he purposely threw some firecrackers to frighten my dog, BB and made it starting to bark. It was truly a chaos on that day.

    The next few days, dadday was furious when Ravi turned on his television at full volume until past midnight. The sound was deafening. I almost had nightmare every night. He prefers drinking alcoholic beverages when watching his all-time-favourite Hindustant movies. The most awful thing was he threw all the cans everywhere and his house was very messy. Many flies and mosquitoes even cockroaches come to my home! My family couldn't withstand such a harsh condition and the neighbours either.

     Ravi is also uncaring of the environment. He cut down the big shady tree in front of his house which I could shelter every afternoon and burned the leaves, destroying the grass outside. My brother who had asthma usually choking in fear when he burned the leaves. Ravi even ordered his grandchild to steal my mum's favourite yellowish mangoes. He is indeed a terrible man. We really hate him from head to toe.

     He also has a habit of putting his rubbish in plastics bags and simply throwing them outside the gates. It is really filthy. Subsequently, stray cats and dogs would tear open the bags and the rubbish would be strewn all over the place. He didn't care about the neighbours' well fare and teasing on others too.

     The day came when daddy finally decided to warn him that if he did not lower the volume of his television and continue to discard rubbish in an inconsiderate way, he would report it to the town council. Damn it, although he felt very embarrassing for being scolded by my dad in the ring of crowd, he still showed no sign of changes on his face.

     After that incident, Ravi becomes quieter but he is still unfriendly. He always stares at us when he sees my family. He even built a brick wall which cost his arms and his legs just to separate his house from ours. He is a neighbour that I really dislike now and ever after.

     It was a fine sunny day and Jason was cycling home after school. He was sweating profusely and he was thirsty. Hence, he parked his bicycle at the recreation park and he found a bench under a big shady tree to sit and rest. "What's that?" Jason uttered while quenching his thirst with a bottle of cold lemon juice. He caught sight of a small red bag on his bench. When he looked around, he did not see anybody in sight. Then he grabbed the red bag to see.

     Out of curiosity, Jason unzipped the bag. "Wow! It's the latest cell phone from America!" He was surprised to discover an expensive mobile phone coated with gold on it. He felt a little bit of timid to take that handphone as he was afraid that the owner of the handphone would come back and claim it. Then he waited at the park but nobody came and searched for the mobile phone. Jason felt relieved and he streamed out with an idea to own that handset.

     Without hesitation, Jason put that red bag in his school bag and cycled away in a hurry. He could not wait to reach home to check the functions of the mobile phone. "Wow! This gadget is really fun man. I've been longing to purchase this kind of handphone many years ago!" Jason was mumbling to himself. Then, he switched on the MP3 function of the handphone and listened to his favourite song Amazing grace, humming the song in his own style. He even checked up other functions installed in the phone. Soon, he pressed into the photo gallery of the cell phone and discovered that phone belonged to a foreigner. Inside his phone, Jason even saw many crucial information stored in it. Then, Jason reacted promptly to ransack the bag and he discovered the owner's address book and some documents.

     He noticed that the owner's passport had also left together in the bag. then, Jason began to feel unease as he had stolen the crucial things of the foreigner. "What I've to do now? Should I return the bag to him or just keep it as a secret forever?" Jason was frustrated and he kept on scratching his head as he felt reluctant to return that elegant cell phone to the owner. However, Jason's guilty conscience soon get the better of him. He realized that it was bad if he kept the mobile phone for himself.

     As he did not know the hotel in which the tourist was staying, he felt that informing the police was the best course of action. "Alright, we'll handle this problem!" the policemen promised Jason. The police were very helpful and in high efficiency. Soon, they managed to locate the man who had lost his red bag.

    Two weeks later, the man was overjoyed when he heard that Jason had found his bag and mobile phone. He gave a tinkle to Jason to praise for Jason's honesty. "Thank you very much Jason!" the tourist thanked Jason. Jason said to the tourist that it's his responsibility to return things that belong to the owner.

     Then, at the school assembly Jason was called onto the stage by the principal. His friends elbowed him and said, "Huh! You're against the rule right?" Jason was trembling in fear as it was the first time to be called onto the stage without notification. Then, he gave a glaze of smile on the stage as he was given a certificate of appreciation for his honesty.

     Last school holidays, I visited my cousin who lived in Malacca, the prevailing historical state of Malaysia. I went there by boarding a bus. Before leaving my hometown, I asked my neighbour to keep an eye on my house, watered the plants and collected mails for me as i decided to stay at my cousin's house for a month. 

     I live in a double-storey house which is located in Taman Buaya, Perak. in my state, the weekends fall on Saturday and Sundays. After spending five days of assignments and extra curricular activities, we are allowed to take some time off to relax and unwind during the weekends. I can do my all-time-favourite activities during the weekends.

     During the weekends, I wake up very early as usual. After enjoying a leisurely and savoury breakfast prepared by my maid, I would spend ten minutes reading the entertainment column in the newspaper. Besides that, I would do some aerobic exercises to keep my body fit. Before I work out, I would cycle around my neighbourhood with my new mountainbike which was purchased by my father five days ago. When I am cycling, I will greet Tom, Dick and Harry although they are just the passerby.

     By the o'clock on Saturdays, to keep in touch with my friends I will normally be on my way to meet them. I usually do not have lunch at home on Saturdays as I go out with my friends. We will go window shopping and have our meals there too. I prefer eating Kentucky Fried Chicken with my friends compare to eating lunch alone at home as I can talk gags to my friends, we laugh together and have a whale of time at the fast food outlet. Then, we will continue our shopping trip. All of us are overwhelmed by the elegant clothes and shoes with price tags on them which are displayed in the showcase.

     My friends and I will normally go out and paint the town red. Jaywalking around Buaya town is our favourite activity. After that we will surf the web at an internet cafe. We play on-line games and have a blast in the internet cafe. Then, we will have dinner at Secret Recipe. I can enjoy myself and sit relax in the restaurant. I would order a cup of coffee and a piece of Tiramisu cake. Laughter filled the air when I am sipping coffee and chatting with my friends.

     On the other hand, Sundays are always a family affair. My daddy will take some time off from his busy schedule just to spend quality time with us. Early in the morning, we will have a picnic at the park. We will prepare breakfast together like toast, pudding and beverages. We can relax our heart, mind and soul while listening to the birds chirping on trees and feeling the cool breeze which makes the trees swinging to and fro. The rest of the afternoon would be spent on watching television or listening to the music.

     Apart from that, in the evening my siblings and I join my father for a game of badminton. Badminton is a sort of game that can make us healthy. My mum who has green fingers prefers gardening. She plants lots of flowers and vegetables. Many neighbours praise her as she takes care all of them so nice.

     Then, every Sunday I would cook dinner for my family. I drive my mum's car to giant hypermarket and purchase all the ingredients. My family's favourite meal is mushroom with mixed salad, pasta and pork steak. That's why now I am expert in cooking all these cuisine. After that we will have our dinner together at dining room.

     After doing some revisions, I go to bed at twelve midnight. It is crucial to do revisions before we go to sleep as it helps to enhance pour memories. I would never burn the midnight oil. As soon as another week starrts, I start looking forward to the following weekend.

Alice was a charming girl with blonde, sleek hair and lived at the rural area in a dilapidated house. Alice really disliked to go to school as her life was not a bed of roses. She always worked as a part-time seller in a shopping centre. Hence she felt irritated to complete all her endless projects and homework. Everyday, she brought home the bacon as she was the only backbone in her family after his father's death. She did not blame others for her unfortunate life at all.
During the school holidays, her teacher met her for some counselling. Her teacher, Mary advised her to study hard thus she could earn better salaries. '' Alice, although your family members are not well-educated, you can change your life if you study hard. '' Alice decided to heed her teacher's advice as she was convinced that education really could change her family's life. She even thought about her future that might influence herself and her family.

''Mum, I'll be an industrious student and intent to get the most A's in my SPM examination.'' Alice's mother agreed what had been told by Alice and felt delighted. Since that day, Alice changed her attitude. Instead of working, she was willing to spend extra time to do her revisions. She even burned the midnight oil daily just to catch up what she had lost in the past few weeks. Apart from that, she dared to approach to her teacher when she didn't understand the topic taught by her teacher.

Alice's friends were helpful too as they assisted Alice to do some notes when she was busy and they also usually discussed their homework in their study group. Alice knew her SPM's days were numbered so she forced herself to drive more into the ground. In the evening, she prepared dinner for her siblings and kept an eye in their study. Her siblings were concerned about Alice either, they seldom disturbed her when Alice was occupied.

Finally, the day which was waited by Tom,Dick and Harry came! Alice didn't feel nervous at as she was well-prepared enough to sit for the examination. Alice answered each and every paper confidently. she felt relieved after sitting the examination for ten days. On the other hand, she also felt anxious as the result would determine her future. She kept on praying to God. However, she didn't regret the efforts done by herself.

Soon, the day had come. Alice burst into tears on receiving her result as she passed the examination with flying colours. Her mother and her family were really proud of her. Besides that, her teachers also felt impressed with her achievement.

Alice entered the most prestigious university-Oxford and she still studied diligently. Finally, she graduated to become a pharmacist. Two years later she married a doctor from London. When people asked about her tip for success, she prefer to say, ''Hard work is the key to success.''

''Boom!'' I was awaken by the sound of something crashing on the engine. I was very curious and wanted to know what had happened to the aircraft which I was boarding in. It was weird that the aircraft  was like swinging in the in the air. When I looked out of the window, I was shocked to see smoke coming out from the engine. My jaw was hanging down and my eyes were popping out too. '' Oh my God!'' On seeing the scene, I immediately loosen my safety belt and wanted to flee from the plane.

''Open the door! Hurry up, the plane is going to crash!'' I was so panic that I could not control my emotion. I was trying to open the emergency exit. Oh no, I was going nuts now! Out of a sudden, a charming air stewardess grabbed hold of my hand and tried to calm me down. ''Miss, you can't do this! We will try to handle it.'' She ordered me to sit down and wait for the captain's instructions.

I went back to my seat and waited patiently. Other passengers began to scream and cry after they saw the chaos. They felt very uncomfortable with their situation and started to scold the captain. Some of them even quarrelled and were busy getting their luggage that made the aircraft filled with chaos and terror. I kept on praying while all the air stewardess were discussing on how to cope with the big problem. One of them went to see the captain.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the plane is going to land at Hudson River five minutes from now. Please fasten your safety belt. Then take out the life jacket under you seat and follow the instructions by our captain. Thank you." After we heard the announcement, we were really over the moon. Soon, the plane landed perfectly on the Hudson River. All of us aboard safely and walked out of that sinking aircraft. Then, we were standing on the aircraft's wings and waited for the rescuer to save us. I was struggling in my emotion and burst into tears while waiting for the rescuer's boat. The other felt relieved and hugged together.

The scene was full of crowds. I almost had no room for elbow. Finally, I felt uneasy to plow my way through that crowd. My relatives were waiving their hands when they saw me standing near the port. It was truly a narrow escape for me. Although this incident happened to me, I hope that this tragedy only stay in my memory. Pilot Capt. Chesley was indeed a wise man. He was our hero.

A woman with blonde, sleek and alluring hair is my mother. Her name is Mary who married my father. She's the person who had the biggest influence in my life. I can still remember vividly every precious moment I spent with my loving mother.

''Linda! Linda!" I saw my mother running towards me and she looked pale and was sweating profusely. I was eager to know what had happened to her and grab hold of her shoulder. ''Daddy has passed away in an accident!'' My eyes were popping out and my jaw was hanging down after I heard about my father's death. I felt very upset and burst into tears. My mother had a strong will and consoled me. Both of us were so anxious and concerned about our future.

Without my father, my family lost a backbone and my mother had to bring home the bacon by herself. She woke up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for me daily. She had lots of wrinkles on her face now and she seemed tired all the time. She had to suffer and struggle for many years just to earn some income for me to pay the fees. However, I didn't appreciate all the things that my mum had done for me!

Everyday, when the clock struck seven I went to school as usual. After that, I joined my peers to play truant and we boarded a bus to go window-shopping at Berjaya Times Square. On the other hand, mu mum was working diligently at a Chinese restaurant. She worked as a servant and served the dishes to customers everyday. However, she was always been scolded and blamed by her evil boss. She never gave up and kept on praying that someday I would never be like her.

I went home very late every day and my mother usually fell asleep in her bedroom while waiting for me. I peeped into the keyhole of the door and saw piles of money on the desk. At that moment, I was determined to steal the money to purchase all the things that I longed for many years ago.

''Vroom...vroom!'' I kept the money and intended to share the happiness with my friends. Unfortunately, my mum was awaken by the sound of the motorcycle. She was very angry and her face was filled with emotion. Tears were rolling down her cheeks and she immediately knelt down and pleaded towards me.

''Linda, Linda give me the money back!'' I turned a deaf ear and still insisted to go to my friends' house.

My friends and I were really over the moon as we could purchase lots of things with the money that I had stolen. We snacked on junk food and sipped beverages in my friends' house. We continued our blast and switched on the television to sing karaoke. out of a sudden, my friend Sean elbowed me. ''Lin...Linda, your mum is on the television!'' I thought that they were joking and after I saw the scene where my mother intended to commit suicide, I was literally shocked! The reporter said that my mum was not able to pay the money to the 'Along'. Therefore she knew that her days were numbered and she wanted to give a come to her life to settle all the payment that she had borrowed from them.

I felt very guilty! If I gave back the money, would my mother still be alive? I cried in front of my mother's carcasses at the graveyard. I leaned on the ground and looked beyond the sky. ''I need to change!'' I mumbled and recalled all the songs of my family.

''1,2,3 say cheese!'' Today I attend my graduation ceremony. My friends and I are capturing photographs for remembrance. I never regret what I have done now! My parents are six feet under the ground and they must be happy if they can share this valuable moment with me. Since that incident, I realized that family is crucial in our lives. Parents are indeed dominant in the family relationship. My mum really influence me a lot, she raise me up!

Seremban, Tuesday- A horrifying road accident occur last midnight which led to a fatal of a man and injured five other passengers including a 4-year-old girl.

According to one of the witnesses, Madam Yong said that the car was driven in high speed on the road and suddenly it was out of control. She was still trembling in fear when giving an account of the traffic accident.

The spectators telephoned the fire station for assistance. The fire fighters and the policemen arrived at the scene fifteen minutes later. After the police investigation, they claimed that the car was oversped which led the car to skid on the slippery road and went straight into the side railing of the expressway, then finally landed in a filthy stream.

The accident happened at the North-South Expressway, about 287 kilometres from Nilai. The dead, Zainal Abu Samah aged 67 was suffocated when his car turned turtle in the deep stream. The passer-by at the scene and the firemen cooperated to pull the driver Ramli out of the wreckage. then he was rushed to the hospital but died after two hours later.

Other passengers were still alive but they suffered sever injuries. The driver's 4-year-old girl was fallen asleep when the accident happened. She cried after the policemen informed her about the death of her father.

The six were returning home after seeing their relatives off to Mecca at Kuala Lumpur International Airport but unfortunately they were stranded in the accident when their car hit the side of the express way.

The passer-by took them to the nearest hospital for treatment. All the victims were treated well in Seremban Hospital. Their relatives consoled them. Zainal's body had been taken to the Seremban Hospital Mortuary. His relatives came to the hospital and paid their deepest condolescence for him.

Zainal's spouse,Mary fainted in the hospital as she could not accept the sudden death of his husband. The other victims were all in stable condition. The traffic congestion was over when the traffic policeman came and instructed the road drivers.
