One word essay (Neighbours)

October 24, 2009

I live in Taman Buaya which is a lovely housing estate located about a stone's throw from town. Just like other people in the housing scheme,I have some adorable neighbours too. Miss Diana's house is situated just next to my house. She is a charming young lady with a blonde, sleek straight hair who works diligently to support herself and two younger siblings. She's the only one who brings home the bacon, therefore she works hard as her parents died in a car accident two years ago.

Another hospitable neighbour who lives behind my house is Mr Trisagan's family. They are very friendly people and know how to respect other residents. He has a small plot of land beside his house where he and his wife plant several types of vegetables and flowers.

Apart from that,Mr Tan's family lives in front of my house. He is a veterinarian. People who have pets in my neighbourhood always refer to him for guides on how to take care of their pets. He is a close friend of my father as both of them have the same hobby, that is angling.

Next to Mr Trisagan's house is En.Amzari's house. Encik .Amzari owns a restaurant that is situated in town .His daughter,Sarah is my junior in school. His wife Pn.Sazaitul is an excellent cook who helps her husband in the restaurant. Their foods are savoury and the prices are affordable too.

There are also some neighbours who are irresponsible. For instance,Mr. Juan in the corner of the street. He prefers dumping everywhere and makes the street filthy and causes stray dogs and cats to come.

Good neighbours are vital as they are a part of large community and they are the closest ones for us to get some helps when we are in troubles. Without neighbours we will feel alone and also insecure. Children needs friends and so do adults by having good neighbours,we can help to solve each other's problems.

Having neighbours are crucial but if we want others to treat us well we have to treat them well too. Neighbours in need are neighbours indeed. We should be observant to choose who is suitable to be our neighbours.
