RAINBOW VILLAGE, TAICHUNG, TAIWAN

August 02, 2015

Rainbow Village was the first place that we went to visit when we were in Taichung. No entrance fee. The  driver told us that the people who drew all these colorful murals stay inside the house. So, we met the artist. He was an old man and he was very hilarious. He told us that he was actually from Hong Kong and shared with us lots of interesting stories about his life in Taiwan.

We reached here at 9.30 a.m. and there were not many tourist there yet. However, lots of people flocked into the village sharp at 10 a.m. The driver told us that the street artist-the rainbow warrior would come at 10 a.m. and we were so lucky that we met him. I guess they came here to take photo with him too.

We were making some jokes when we saw these murals. We were suggesting to each other that we could get some inspirations from these beautiful mural so that we had some ideas for the mural project in our schools.

Very cute.

All the best in examination.

Tada. Cai Hong Zan Shi-The Rainbow Warrior? Lol. He was so pro in taking photos with the tourist. Life as a street artist is not easy. He was very friendly and he instructed us to take several photos. As usual,we just do the peace sign when we took the photo. We felt awkward because there were many people waiting for their turn to take photo and all eyes were on us. Ahahaha. C'mon....why so shy :(
