Hello! *wave frantically* It has been a while since I last visit my own blog. Lol. I mean it has been a while I didn't write anything on this little virtual space of mine. I am having my semester break. What a long semester break to become fat and lazy which I don't really like. Frankly speaking, I'm a couch potato since I back home. *who's with me?* Travelling is not on my list because I got no penny left yo. But I'm happy because this is the time that I can read a novel a day. Normally I don't have the time to just curl up at the sofa and read a book for the whole day. So this is when I unplugged from the virtual world. I didn't surf the internet so frequently like before. What a great achievement.  #Fomo.Well. This is my hobby. *Get a life!!!* Say what you need to say.

Hope everything will be okay.
I don' think I want to move to hostel again if I stay outside..I'm already fed up with everything. The system.  Money can't buy happiness? See who's unhappy now...those without money. The lesson that I have learned is money is very important in our life. Money is the root of all evil. Yup. And now I do believe that money can solve all the problems!!!! If I can choose, of course I want to be wealthy. Not by inhererit...but with my own effort. My mum always tells me that if you have money, 你自然就会有很多朋友。The society is cruel. Last time I used to argue with her because I didn't think like that. I thought money is not everything. Now I slowly realise that money is quite important in our life....
I want to be wealthy but not filthy rich. You gotta choose.

Yeah! Life must go on! Study hard!  :*

My roommate, soon-to-be graduates will go to USA!!! Oh my. It is like a dream comes true for her. Well. I really envy her. So nice right? It is not just a travelling trip to America. She actually joins this work and travel program. At first I do not know much about this program. To be exact, I do not even heard of it. *How come* Haha. Now,it's not too late to know about this awesome program right? Of course everything nice in this world comes at costs. She has to pay approximately RM10k to join the program. Basically, the agent will settle everything for you. She told me that they will help her to find a job. She can choose whether she wants to work at urban area or rural area. For instance, selling hot sausage at Disneyland. I was like *Are you for real?Working at Disneyland? Is that possible?*
Apart from that, they will settle the visa thingy too. She will work there for two months then another month left is for her to travel. I'm not really sure about the details of the application so if you're interested you can just google about the program. You might be asking, "Are you sure that it is so easy to work there?" Yup.The program may sounds interesting but it is not easy to apply. Not only you need to have that large sum of money to go there, you will be called for a interview session either. Of course, she got it! Once you're shortlisted. Voila. Everything should be fine. How nice. I'm actually interested in this program after she told me about it. At first, I am calculating how many months I need to save that amount of money since I have no income.=,= I don't think I can save some of my allowance in order to hit the target. I mean if I don't spend that allowance at all! If I don't eat, don't spend on my class fee, transportation, don't use them on teaching aids and etc.Well. Three semester left that means I still can do it. Given that RM3000++ half a year, I still have one and a half left....That means 3000x3=9000. Unfortunately, I can't save that much. I can't even pass my CPT examination, not to mention about the soon-will-be-announced Aptis result. I don't even have the proficiency and I think I'm not qualified for the interview too.
In conclusion, just dream on.LOL.
Oh. Why.

It was such a memorable experience for me. I just finished my first practicum. Hmm..Nothing much to say. Just have one word to describe it-tired. I'm glad that I'm still survive after the hectic schedule. *hectic?lol* I think I just shed some fat because if this practicum. Can't imagine how I will look like for the next two months practicum. Stress. Can't sleep properly. Restless night. Basically...my partner and I didn't sleep well daily. Our routine was so much the same. We wake up at 6 a.m daily...even though our school is just 5 minutes' drive from our rented house...we still wake up early ..hahaha. because there were 5 of us in the house and we ought to take turn to use the toilet. Then, we will reach the school 7.10 a.m. We go back 1.30 p.m. everyday and we didn't have lunch for that whole month....Hmm.Just because we were too tired to eat..It was so exhausting I didn't know why. Even though we just teach one hour per day. After we reached our 'home sweet home' we took our nap and woke up at 5p.m..Then, we had our dinner..Soon, we started to write lesson plan and prepare teaching aids. It was really tired...Really =.= I sleep at 3 a.m daily..and the day before my  last observation I slept at 4.30 a.m...Well...I just screwed the last observation. Such a painful memory...lol. Well..I'm glad that at least it was over now. One thing I want to mention is....It is quite disheartening when you put in a lot of efforts in your teaching aids (paint, draw, cut, paste..etc), but your students just don't appreciate them..So..urm.....quite sad. Well. Not all. At least I have some students really like my drawing..even though they look horrible. When they knew that I drew and prepared all these teaching aids for them, they were really excited.
When I was busy pasting the manila cards on the board. Some students came and asked me.
Students: Teacher, did you draw these all by yourself?
Me: Ya, why?
Student: Wow...hen mei lei laoshi ni hen li hai hua lie! (so beautiful, teacher you can draw so well)
And I felt satisfied too when I saw the grin on these cutie pie' faces.

A reward chart for my year 4 students. This class was not so competitive. Even though I promised them that I will give rewards to the best group and best students, they were not motivated to learn either. Haiz. Many krik krik moment...and my last observation was ruined by them...haha...nola..It was me who was really bad in classroom management. I was just jawdrop when I asked questions and they didn't give me any response at all. Luckily I had another boy who helped me a lot. Really thank to this naughty student, Ri Qi who always answer my questions during the kirkkrik moment. Even though he just talked nonsense. Hahahah. At least I still had one student that was active in my class ma. Some funny dialogues with my year 4 students. 1 T: Alright students, what will you do if the stranger wants the catch you. Class: *display adequacy* KRIK KRIK KRIK KRIK T: Students, how? Okay, who know? Who WANT to answer???????*nervous face* Ri Qi: Ah! Teacher I know. I know.*waved his hand frantically* T: Yes, Ri Qi *thank god...finally.* Ri Qi: I will shoot him. Biang biang biang *showing the action of shooting* T: k...k...*speechless* 2 T: Do you like the book review activity? Class: KRIK KRIK KRIK T: How about you Ri Qi? Ri Qi: Boring. T: *Keep calm because my teacher is observing me. Keep calm.* Oh, if it was so boring how come you already finished your work? KRIK KRIK KRIK...*fake a smile* And I didn't know what I was talking about. Damn. So..basically I had more interaction with this student named Ri Qi.....huh. It's okay.

Year 3. Mischievous class. All were very talkative. At first they disliked me because I refused to speak mandarin with them. Not all were interested in my lesson, just interested in my alluring prizes only. Haha.

Activity for set induction- jigsaw puzzle..YOYOYo,,Do you kids like it? But...they spent half an hour to complete the puzzle..it was supposed to be a 5 minutes activity. Fortunately, no observation on that day. So, lesson learned. DON'T CREATE SUCH A DIFFICULT PUZZLE MISS CHAN. I could see that the students were really frustrated when they couldn't complete the puzzle..ok2. Sorry ya..my dear y3 students haha.

Presents for my y3 students.

xi gua tian bu tian????? TIANN... Will blog about the presents that my students gave me before I left the school :) Soon....

Hmm...well nobody knows how tired we are. It's very tiring. Hmm. I have a lot to tell but don't know what to tell because there are so many things happened during these weeks. Firstly, it's about the classes that I got. I got year 4 and year 3 students and they were okay la. Just ..hmm.dunno what to say...it's so tiring to teach la when the students refuse to listen to you. Since, it's very difficult to get a lcd projector. We used the traditional method...chalk and talk. We wrote the whole passage on a mahjong paper or manila paper..then decorate a bit to make it look not so dull, be creative or whatever...but in the end your students did not appreciate your efforts...so how will you feel? Well, kids nowadays are different, the you-behave-and-i-will-give-you-sweets tactic doesn't work anymore la..seriously =,=. What Dreikurs theory la...Canter la...bla..bla bla you name it.. but I just think these theory do not work.....So I will just use my own theory. The kids are just plain rude. They feel like they are very good and clever so most of them will not respect the teacher. Oh come on...if you are very good ..diam diam sudah... don't disturb your friend la..they still want to learn....And they will give some kind of stare to you which I don't really like! These kids...speechless.But I don't bother them much. Well...but not all the kids are like that. Some students are very cute and I feel sad for some of them when they refuse to learn and sit there doing nothing. I couldn't do much because my lecturer was there. No time to pay more attention to these weak students because the lesson was going on and my lecturer was observing me. So, I just pat his shoulder and said, "Chong, ok? Do you work ah." Some are very industrious. They always come to see me and read to me. I don't know they come to read for the sake of the best student reward...or something else. but I was touched by these hardworking students. Recess time is the only time they can meet me and read to me. One of the students just finished his breakfast and ran to my room. He was still panting while he read the story "The Greedy Lion" to me. I was so moved by him. Although he did make some mistakes in his pronunciation, I did appreciate his efforts very much. He was very active during my lesson and I was sure he did learn something. Everything was okay. Hmm....are they going to miss me when I'm leave the school? Haha..I just made a joke with my friend yesterday.. I hope my students will not throw eggs to me la on my last day at the school....haha.
Last thing..the thing I dreaded the most when my kids said that the activities are boring. Well. What activity do you want then? Well jigsaw puzzle, gallery walk, think-pair-share- watching video and bla3...seriously what else the kids want from us....All these are cliche for them already. Seriously?
I can't think of any interesting activities to you. All academic things are boring. Tell me. Or I'm the cause of boredom.......like a typical teacher.I know right.Huhu.
So let's see what will happen for the next two weeks.
