Sun Moon Lake is a very big and beautiful lake. It is the largest lake in Taiwan. It is called Sun Moon lake because it's comprised of the diamond-shape Sun Lake and curved Moon Lake. When we went there,we had to pay for the lake tour. NTD 300 was charged for the entire lake tour. Many tour packages were provided, you just choose. The boat stopped at several stations. We went there at 3 p.m. which was really late to tour the entire lake. We just managed to buy Ah Po's Tea Eggs. We didn't have time to board the cable car because it was closed at 4 p.m. Lesson learned. Do go there early.
