How to go to the hostel:

From Taoyuan International Airport, we took KuoKang bus to Taipei Main Station. Then, we transfered to subway and boarded the (RED line) train to Shilin Mrt Station. After we reached the Shilin Station, we took exit 2 and walked to the hostel.

There's no signage for the hotel. Fortunately we managed to find it because they sent us a map. The hostel was stone's throw away from the Shilin Mrt Station.

How to book:

I booked it from this website. At first we felt suspicious about the hostel because it did not show many photos of their hostel. Luckily it was okay.

What I really like about the hostel:

The staff can speak fluent Mandarin, Korean language and English.
Toilet was really clean. Even though the first day I went to the toilet and it was stucked, they repaired it immediately. Hair dryer was provided but we could not use it after 12 a.m.
Can meet with many foreigners. Most of the guests were Korean, Singaporean, Malaysian and some European.
The room was comfortable. Our room had air-con and a balcony. We could hang our clothes at the balcony.
It was really near the famous Shilin Night Market. It's just a 2 minutes' walk to reach there. We went to the night market so many times during our stay there.
It was located near the Shilin Mrt Station, Shilin Police Station and bus stop.
Breakfast was provided daily. However, during our 7 days' stay there we ate the same thing daily. Coffee, tea, bread and jam were provided. The staff prepared salad for the guest. However, late comers always did not have a chance to taste the salad.
Washing machine. Free to use. Really surprised to know that! I should have used it! However, you need to pay NTD 10 to dry your clothes.
They provide pick-up service. Inform them prior to arrival. Pick-up: NTD 1200/ 1~4 people. Drop-off: NTD 900/ 1~4 people

Tips:

Good luck for those staying at the fifth floor. Next time I will request not to stay at the fifth floor. This was because there was no toilet at that floor. We had to go to the third floor to us the washroom. There's one unisex washroom at the fourth floor. However, we seldom used it.
Please bring your tooth brush, tooth paste and towel or else you have to buy from them.
